Florida is big and diverse and beautiful. It can feel like a lot of different states or even different countries at times. I was fortunate enough to travel around the state during the holidays. But I’m guessing you want to see pictures so here’s some of what I saw.

Lambathas line Springs Bayou in Tarpon Springs. The lambathas started as a school project in 1986 and have grown to be a beloved Christmas Eve tradition.

Americans have this habit of planting flags everywhere. This is one of the more unique spots I’ve seen. This flag is planted right in the Everglades.

The Everglades are gorgeous. And if you get a chance to explore them, do it! I want to get out and hike some of it at some point and get a little closer to the wildlife.
